“Insane perseverance in the face of constant rejection.”
- Jack Thorne

A marathon enthusiast with a degree in Marketing Management. Prior to becoming an Abakus mentor, I was in a BPO industry for a couple of months. Afterward, I started my journey as an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher for 4 years and along that I was certified TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) teacher, as well as teacher trainer and mentor for newly hired teachers in my previous companies.

I teach drawing out the very best in me. Teaching is a constant learning and being a teacher is creating a professional out of our profession and thus, we're building dreams one bead at a time.

Even more cool thing - I can pass it to children. Visualization, good reaction, extending memory capacity and creativeness - there are what we are doing at our lessons.

Great selection of pairs to exchange. Here is a convenient and simple interface. The only negative it that the application is processed for 10-15 minutes.
The individualized approach at Abakus school has helped my child to excel in math, they enjoy the classes and look forward to going every week.

Our boys have a 25 minute private abacus lesson on zoom. They do the lessons online in addition to using a workbook. Our teacher Kim is so friendly, he has much experience with young kids, super professional. Our boys are learning how to use the abacus very well. I recommend this school.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Abakus math is a complex of methods of intellectual development of a child, using a neuropsychological approach for the development of mathematical and creative thinking of a child aged 4-12 years.

brain

At school, kids study several sections of mathematics, including logic and geometry problems. The task of the school is to test the knowledge of mathematical rules, the purpose of Abakus math is to teach a child to think and apply the knowledge gained at school to solve non–standard tasks. Often such tasks are attributed to entertaining, practical or unusual mathematics.

brain

If a child needs a constant explanation of school material - no, they will not replace it. But they will help you save money in the future on preparing for exams, as the child will acquire the ability to understand tasks. Not everyone is able to teach a child to work independently. After completing the Abacus Mathematics course, it will be interesting for the child to figure out the solution himself.

brain

Abakus Math includes a whole complex consisting of advanced methods of development and education of children, built into a purposeful system. This complex includes exercises:

  • concentration and attention
  • logic and the ability to build patterns, find and create rules
  • visual and graphical representation (geometry on a plane and space)
  • arithmetic operations
  • combinatorics (the ability to make permutations, finding the unknown, etc.)
  • work with textual information (conditions, data, characteristics, etc.)
  • Neuropsychological and brain fitness exercises allow you to strengthen the state of the nervous system, improve the memorization of new information, and fully develop your thinking (cognitive) abilities.
  • The listed complexity of the categories is based on a scientific and practical approach, while the child will not notice such complexity.

brain

That is why he needs to get acquainted with the Abakus Math. We created our exercises primarily for those who do not like mathematics.

A variety of exercises will help him discover talents that, perhaps, neither he nor you, as parents, guessed about.

It is enough just to attend a trial lesson to understand how much mathematics can be fascinating and interesting, especially if it is Abakus Math.
